        “I was injured in a soccer game in early June 2008.  I was told I partially tore my MCL on my right knee and that I would not be able to do any exercising for about 8 weeks.  After about 8 weeks I started to run a little but it was too painful.  With only 2 weeks left before my soccer tryouts for USM and my senior year, I wasn't sure what to do.  I signed up for 3 days a week for my final 2 weeks before tryouts at Gorham Fitness Studio.  Gorham Fitness Studio helped me strengthen all the muscles around my knee and taught me the correct exercising techniques.  Not only was my knee ready for preseason, I didn't have any pain or re-injury since the injury.  I was able to play in every game and play to my fullest making cuts and jabs with absolutely no pain.  I couldn't believe how quickly it healed.  I had tendinitis in my left knee a few years back that I tried to heal in Physical Therapy however it never fully went away until I went to Gorham Fitness Studio.  I can't thank you enough for helping me heal so fast and effectively!”

        “I came to Gorham Fitness Studio in October 2008.  I met with Stacey who asked me my goals and attentively listened to everything I was hoping to accomplish.  My main reason for going at that time was because I am going to be turning 40 in 2009 & was taking a trip to Mexico with my girlfriends in January to kick off our big birthday year!  Our goal, we all said the summer before, was to wear a bikini on the beach during that trip!  I hadn't been on a regular exercise routine of any kind in some time and had been years since I was on a regular strength training schedule.  Stacey & I met an average of 3 times a week for personal training sessions & another 2 days a week for Cardio Club.  In that time, Stacey mixed up every session, always keeping me motivated and on track of my goal.  Even when I worked out on my own, I heard Stacey's voice in my head urging me to push it!!  I was always able to incorporate the things I was shown in the studio into my own workouts.  I'm happy to say that on that trip to Mexico, I did wear a bikini!  I also wore clothes that were two sizes smaller than last summer!  I feel fantastic, I've got great muscle tone & I'm definitely continuing my workouts with Stacey (and Jesse too!) because now it's definitely a part of my life & want to truly show that 40 IS the new 30!”
